He is survived by: his children, Amy Blackwell, Judi Proffitt, Sherry Crockett, Monika Fletcher and Robert Mahoy; and his siblings, Jimmy Proffitt, Charlene Wyrick, Darlene Johnson, Ann Burkhart and Pearl Hubbard. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
