She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Steely Terrell Jr.; her parents, Lester Arnold Norris and Carrie Travis Norris; her stepmother Grace Norris; and her siblings, Edward Norris and Mildred Walters.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Tate (Larry) of Corbin, KY, Marcy Harrison (Brad) of Fairfax, VA, Bob Terrell of Corbin, KY, Patty Terrell of Highland, MI and Ron Terrell (Connie) of Jenks, OK.; her grandchildren, Audra Tate, Cameron Tate (Jessica), Ryan Tate (Julianne), Emily Harrison, Jennifer Ridgel, Hunter Snider, Abbey Snider and Taylor Terrell; and her great grandchildren, Brayden Tate, Penelope Tate, Renn Gibbs, Britton Tate, Christine Henderson and Chloe Ridgel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis' honor to the National Kidney Foundation, or the Knox-Whitley Animal Shelter at 66 Busy Ln.
