With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Louise Jackson of Corbin, Kentucky, who passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Oliver Jackson; her parents, Maggie Hatcher Hopkins and Henry Thomas Hammack; her son Herbert Henson; and her siblings, Earl Hammack, Thomas Hammack, Perry Hammack, Donnie Hammack, Judy Hopkins and Henrietta Carr.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Delph of Woodbine, Rita Carter (Willie) of Corbin, Mike Hammack (Darlene) of Corbin and Teresa Chesnut (Clarence) of Annville, KY; her daughter-in-law Darla Henson of Indianapolis; her siblings, Louise (George Walden), Sheila (David Dykes), Edward Hammack, Johnny (Margie Hammack), Bertie (Ed Martin), Edith Lawson, Charles (Donna Hammack), Faye (Tony Hall), Betty Marshall, Erma (Robert Parker), Eugene (Sue Hopkins) and Rick (Amy Hopkins); and her grandchildren, Michael, Jon Carter, Amy Philpot, Robin Robertson, Ashley Garrison, Jennifer Grubb, Kay Truett, Stephanie Chesnut, Shianna Roark, Scott and Ryan Henson. She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren, and by numerous nieces and nephews.
