With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Marie Balenger of Corbin, Kentucky, born in Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on September 5, 2022 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Ballenger and Mamie Jordan Balenger; her daughter Joann Balenger; and her siblings, Larry Dobbins and Joyceann Balenger.
She is survived by: her husband Alfred Smith; her daughter Christina (John Witt Jr.); her grandchildren, John Witt Jr. II, Audra Witt and Brandon Witt; her daughter Amy (Jason Paul); her grandchildren, Keelie Jo Mills, Eathan Mills and Jaxtin Paul; her daughter April (Gary Sprinkles); her grandchildren, Malachi Smith, Marissa Smith and Michaela Smith; her daughters, Elizabeth and Jimi Fritz; her grandchildren, Emily Fritz, Joseph Fritz and Jimi Fritz Jr.; her brother Bobby Ray Balenger; and also, John Witt Jr. III, Sofia Witt and Sterling Witt.
