Thelma Sasser Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 16, 2024, at the age of 84, Thelma Sasser of Corbin, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Barton and Etta Nantz Derrick; her stepfather J. T. Derrick; her brother Hershel Barton; and her brother-in-law James E. Underwood (Bud).
She is survived by: her husband Glenn Sasser; her children, Kim Croley (Bob), Janne Beam and Glenn Sasser II (Julie); her grandchildren, Rachel Parks (Danielle), Robbie Croley, Alexis Jacobson (Cody), Lily Sasser and Luke Sasser; her great grandchild Clara Jacobson; and her siblings, Lois Underwood and Bobby Derrick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
To celebrate Frankie's love of helping others, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Corbin or the Corbin Community Backpack Program.
