He was predeceased by: his parents, James Laws and Beulah Gambrel Laws; his wife Betty Laws; and his niece Amanda Hamilton. He is survived by: his sister Carol Hamilton (Ray); his nieces and nephews, Adinna Alcorn, Ryanlee Hamilton, Constance Hamilton and Gabriel Hamilton; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Skylynn, Malachi and Cage; his brother David Scott; his cousins, Dewayne North, Gracie North and Katherine North; and his stepdaughter Omia Roark. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
