He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Broughton Sr. and Nicey Bright Broughton; and his siblings, Leamon, Homer, Linzie, Clifford "Doc", Lee, Forestine Mills, Nadine Smith and Irene Mills.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Broughton; his children, Christopher Broughton (Sherry) of Corbin and Crystal Miller (Daryl) of Gray; his grandchildren, Christopher David, Katie, Benjamin, Nathan and Adam Henry; and his sisters, Kathleen Bright (C. H.) of West Chester, OH and Lorene Barnes (Larry) of West Chester, OH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
