He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Richard and Juanita Harrison Brophy; and his sister Judith Brophy Hall. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Pennington Brophy; his sons, Michael Edward Brophy (Kara), Sean August Brophy and Arthur Patrick Brophy; his grandchildren, Lily, Benjamin and Alexander; his sister Patricia Brophy Sheriff; his uncle Bill Edwards; his brother-in-law Clark Hall; his niece Deanna Moore; and his nephews, Robbie Hall, Terry Hall and Shawn Robert Blankenship.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (703 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. John's Cemetery (1 St Johns Rd, Fort Mitchell, KY 41011).
