It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adeline Montgomery of Abbeville, Louisiana, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Stella Thibodeaux (Elijah Holmes) of Abbeville, LA and Mary Harris of Abbeville, LA; her sister Mary Gene Broussard of Lafayette; her godchildren, Lillian (James) of Abbeville, LA and Steven Montgomery of Abbeville, LA; and her grandchildren, April, Lekeisha, Terrance, Morris Jr. and Adrian of Abbeville, LA. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
