She was predeceased by: her father Roy Wendell Mouton, Sr.; her brothers, Roy Wendell Mouton, Jr. and Arthur Esaw Mouton; her grandparents, Ellen Hardy, Esaw Sr. and Esther Mouton; her aunts and uncles, Jeanette Coleman, Ether Mae Fenton, Clara Mouton, Teresa Cooper, Esaw Mouton Jr. and James Mouton; and her nephew Joshua L'Roy Briggs.
She is survived by: her husband Barry Briggs; her sons, Skyler Briggs and Jacob Briggs; her granddaughters, Skyla Briggs and Kialah Briggs; her mother Perilla Ellen Hardy Mouton of Abbeville; her parents-in-law, Shirley and Leroy Briggs of Abbeville; her sisters, Juanita Allison (Uzziah Zee) of Pensacola, FL, Dianne M. Landry (Richard Deacon, Sr.) of Abbeville, Marilyn J. Briggs (Brandon, Sr.) of Abbeville, Tina J. Mouton of Abbeville and Loretta Mouton (Kent Vincent) of Abbeville; her godchildren, Brandon Briggs Jr., Rechelle Landry and Taron Landry; and her aunts, Maebelle Valcin of Port Arthur, TX and Mary Ann Mouton of Abbeville. She is also survived by eight nephews; nine nieces; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
