He is survived by: his wife Dr. Joy Neveu Cormier; his daughters, Kristyn Scott (Eric), Kelsey Cormier (Co Benoit), Danielle Sanchez and Stephanie Cormier (Jesse Noel); his grandchildren, Princeton Marc Jacobs, Laith Carter Benoit and Eryn Marleigh Scott; his siblings, Gregory Cormier (Collette) of Bellevue, Vernita Cormier of Lithonia, Georgia, Jonathan Cormier of Breaux Bridge, Charlotte Cormier of Cade, Nathaniel Cormier of New Iberia and Joseph Russell Cormier, Jr. (Bridgette); and his aunts and uncles, Willis and Pat Glenn of Columbia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Embassy Bible Fellowship (1555 W Willow St, Scott, LA 70501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
