She was predeceased by: her parents, John "J. B." Barras and Irene Patt Barras; her son Rodney Savoy, Jr.; her grandson Aiden Rhys Morris; her siblings, Sandra Barras James, Horace Barras, John Barras III, Thaddeus Barras and Donald Barras; and her nephews, Nathaniel James and Gerald Barras.
She is survived by: her husband Rodney Savoy, Sr.; her daughters, Tricia Savoy (Gerald) of Lafayette, LA and Shonna Potier (Paul) of Lafayette, LA; her daughters-in-law, Claranetta Ledet of Lafayette, LA and Brandie Gallien of Lafayette, LA; and her brothers, Gerald Barras of St. Martinville, LA, Dwight Barras (Donna) of Atlanta, GA, Wendall Barras (Marlene) of Houston, TX, Ronald Barras (Rose) of Killeen, TX and Randy Mitchell (Ann) of Lafayette, LA.. She is also survived by seven granddaughters, five grandsons, one great-grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
