We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025, at the age of 72, Marshall Mitchell of Carencro, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harry Mitchell and Clardis Amacker Mitchell; and his brother Maurice David Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Mitchell (Trudie); his daughters, Mallory Pryor (Jason) of Katy and Hillary Mitchell of Lafayette; his granddaughter Delilah Pryor; and his siblings, Yvette Heno (Kim), Denise, Jeanne Goudeau (late Tony Goudeau), Deacon Justin Mitchell (Beatrice), Claude Mitchell, Felice Guimont (Lloyd Johnson), Richard Wright-Milbrooks Enterprises and Danielle Mitchell Richard.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church (410 N Michaud St, Carencro, LA 70520). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Va Cemetery (1620 Evangeline Hwy, Jennings, LA 70546).
