He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Solomon and Albert Solomon; his siblings, Eunice Williams, Rose Cormier, Roseanna Solomon, Anna Trahan, Dorothy Noel, Judy Williams, Clarence Solomon, Anthony Solomon, Edward Solomon, Patrick Solomon, Melvin Solomon, Albert Solomon, Gilbert Solomon and James "Jim" Alexander; his son Cruz Dano Solomon; and his grandchildren, Vontashia Edmond and Markeylan Edmond.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Roy Solomon; his children, Kevin Charles, Daniel Travis Dean (Sharon) of Houston, TX, Edmond (Alisha) of Arnaudville, LA, Mark Edmond (Anitra) of Breaux Bridge, LA, Jeremiah Edmond (Orlandra) of Lafayette, LA, Linton Francis of Lafayette, LA, Danson Solomon (Jayda) of Abbeville, LA, Rachelle Johnson (Lemond) of Houston, TX, Stephanie Dean (Johnny) of Duson, LA and Tamika Sneed (Troy) of Houston, TX; his stepchildren, Cornell Dean (Sandra) of Houston, TX, Jamie Archelle (Jennifer) of Richmond, TX and Daphne George (Brock) of Delcambre, LA.; and his siblings, Nancy Solomon Davis of Houston, TX and Joseph Van Solomon. He is also survived by 45 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, family, and friends.
