He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Brailey and Mable Plowden Brailey; and his siblings, Alton Brailey, Sr., Floyd Brailey, Lola Mae Taylor, Orgene Polk, Martha Rideaux and Patricia Lee Brailey.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Rice Brailey of Kaplan, LA; his children, Nolan Ray Brailey, Jr. of Kaplan, LA and Shayla Chantel Brailey-Bartlette (Matthew) of Sumter, SC; and his brothers, Roland Brailey, Sr. of Abbeville, LA, Argis Brailey, Sr. (Leona) of Abbeville, LA, Darson Lee Brailey of Abbeville, LA, Ryneal Brailey, Sr. of Abbeville, LA and Dalton Brailey, Sr. of Breaux Bridge, LA. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
