It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly O Sonnier (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Justin Onezime, Sr. and Ursula Leblanc Onezime; her son Louis Sonnier; and her brothers, Chester Onezime, Jr. and Gerald "Mike" Onezime.

She is survived by: her husband Adam Sonnier of Broussard, LA; her children, Ursula "Cookie" Thomas (Jared) of Opelousas, LA., Zacchaeus "Zack" Sonnier of Broussard, LA., Vernon Sonnier of Broussard, LA. and Olivia Sonnier of Lafayette, LA.; her grandchildren, Joshua, Jada, Gabriella and Joy; and her siblings, Alfrieda Mason of Lafayette, LA., Christine Murray of Duson, LA., Gary Moten of Dallas, TX. and David Onezime of San Antonio, TX.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
