He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carlton Simpson Sr. and Elnora Simpson. He was also cherished by his wife, four children, fifteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, along with two sisters, one brother, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Mass was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 8:00 AM at the Church Barbecues and Fundraisers. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Kinchen Funeral Home, Inc. (1011 N St Antoine St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:45 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (145 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Lafayette, LA 70501). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Calvary Cemetery (355 Teurlings Dr, Lafayette, LA 70501).
