He was predeceased by: his parent Pat La Fountain; his wife Sandi; his mother Hazel La Fountain (Howard); his siblings, Willis La Fountain and Karen Ohlsen; and his son Richard La Fountain.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy La Fountain of Davenport, IA, Ray La Fountain of St. Genevieve, MO, Judd Poppe (Linda) of Silvis, Tom Poppe of Lafayette, LA and Nicole Kilchrist (Michael) of Scott, LA; and his sister Loreen Borkhart (Leroy) of Cambridge, IL.. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
