He was predeceased by: his aunts, Virley Garrick and Inez Dural; his parents, Donald Joseph and Enola Dural Joseph; his sister Patricia Joseph; his grandparents, Alcee Dural, Marie Adolphina Prejean Dural, Amy Dural, Rogers Joseph and Louella Minix Joseph; the mother of his children Charlotte Edwards; and his mother-in-law Emma Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Clyde Edwards (CJ) and Chasity Edwards; his grandchildren, Brandon and Bra'niya Polite; his siblings, Donald Joseph Jr. (Boy), Ronald Joseph (Dippy), Kenneth Joseph (Phil), Charlotte and Caronda Joseph; his goddaughter Caronda Joseph (Charlotte); his siblings, Cleveland Prejean, Hazel Minix and Hazelene; and also Clyde. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
