She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Mae Johnson and Rannie Celestine, Sr.; her brothers, Joseph (Goosie), Michael, Alcee' Johnson (Dobie) and Willie Paul Celestine, Sr.; her granddaughter Nichole Minor; her siblings-in-law, Russel Babineaux, R. H. Reynolds (Buddy) and Mary Lucy Johnson; and her siblings' children, Willie Paul Celestine, Jr., Wade Allen Johnson, Debra Ann Babineaux, Cali Girouard and Chance Robertson.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Elizabeth Lewis (Kevin), Teri Minor (Arthur), Carl Anthony (Annika) and Carlton DeAngelo Celestine; her siblings, Rannie Celestine, Jr. (Phyllis), Warren Celestine, Barbara Babineaux, Brenda Reynolds, Marie Hardy (Rickey) and Priscilla Duhon (Eddie); her godchildren, Travis Celestine, Jefferson Johnson Jr. and Jonajia Stevens; and her godfather Raymond Porter of Inglewood, CA.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many friends.
