She is survived by: her former husband Chester Paul DeRousselle; her granddaughter Nakayla Dugas; her great grandchild Zuri Burkhalter; and her brothers, Richard Dugas (Carlene) and Raymond Dugas (Laura).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St Anthony Catholic Church (615 Edison St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery (818 12th St, Lafayette, LA 70501).
