He is survived by: his children, Tonya Shelvin (Ronald) of Opelousas, LA, Gordon Glenndale Major (Koleen) of Youngsville, LA, Desiree Richard of Lafayette, LA and Jodi Richard of Lafayette, LA; his stepchildren, Yolanda Armsterad (Paul) of Lafayette, LA, Ramona George, Roy Malbreaux, Damien George, Wilton George and Doriemus George (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Devonta C. Major, Serge A. Major, Gordon G. Major, Jr., Da'Kyrie Richard, Harlem L. Major, Reagan Snead and Da'Kota Richard; his great grandchild Javies Wheeler; and his sister-in-law Luranie Richard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
