Lafayette: Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11:00AM at Kinchen Funeral Home in Lafayette for Jamirus Lavontre Freeman who passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Interment will be held at Gethsemane Gardens following the funeral at Kinchen Funeral Home. Jamirus Lavontre Freeman was born January 9, 1999.

On June 21, 2017 God sent his angles to bring him home to eternal peace. He leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother; Lachanda Freeman (Fiance) step-dad, Eric D. Jackson, his three brothers, Ladavis Freeman, Ericeem and Ja'Eric Sterling, his girlfriend, Hailey Batiste, maternal grandmother; Priscilla Laday, paternal grandmother; Vanessa Sterling, godparents; Debra Coleman and Jamal Mac and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father; Eric J. Sterling, his oldest brother; Eric James Freeman, maternal great grandfather; Aswell Laday Sr., maternal grandfather; Oakley Freeman Jr., paternal greatfather; Howard Sterling Sr , paternal great grandfather; Horace Gabriel, paternal great grandfather; Doris Gabriel. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 7:00AM until time of service at 11:00AM at Kinchen Funeral Home in Lafayette.
