She is survived by: her husband Johnny Batiste; her children, Andre Requena-Ozene (Tessia), Christian Requena-Ozene and Taylor Requena-Ozene; her grandsons, Cameron Requena-Ozene and Beckham Requena-Ozene; and her siblings, Carol Morrison (Daniel) of Lafayette, Louisiana, Celia Ovado (Gregory) of Belize, Daniel Requena (Carolyn) of Belize, Pearl Molina (Orlando) of Belize, Cherrymae Kelsey (David) of Belize, Lavern Requena of Belize, Andrea Requena of Belize, Gilbert Requena of Belize and Anthony Requena of Belize. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
