He was predeceased by: his father Milton Cormier; his wife Joyce Anderson Cormier; and his mother Louella Sion Jones. He is survived by: his daughters, Angelina Guidry and Linda Cormier; his grandchildren, Desiree Hebert, Peter Guidry Jr. III (Jerrica), Troy Cormier, Jeanne Cormier and Bryan Guidry; and his great grandchildren, Myles Guidry, Cameron Etienne, Colin Boutte, Khalliyah Cormier, Kheriss Cormier and Kheress Cormier. He is also survived by sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Kinchen Funeral Home, Inc. (1011 N St Antoine St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Benedict the Moor Church (9135 Cameron St, Duson, LA 70529). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the same location.
