He was predeceased by: his father Leon Recard; his aunts and uncles, Beverly Recard, Shirley Green, Black (Maurice), Angela Sanders (Airstead), Roy Recard and Francis Chenevert; his brothers, Thaddeus Recard, Llyod Joseph and Elvis Jimmerson; and his grandparents, Louis, Hester Recard, John and Josephine Chenevert.
He is survived by: his mother Marie Ward; his wife Lashonda Recard; his stepchildren, Tr'Marion Thomas, Kingston Pursley and Malaysia Mouton of Lafayette; his sisters, Tammy and Monica Recard; his nieces, Andria Recard, Tyreisha Davis and Kayla Freeman; his parent-in-law Patrariella St. Romain (Charles); and his close friends, Sandy Coleman and Bobby Arthurlee.
