She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew George and Laura George; and her siblings, Adrien Mouton, Wesley Martin, Alton George, Antoine George, Leopold George, Carol Fran, Althea Cora Colomb (Hollis), Phyllis Oscar (Gerald) and Helen George.
She is survived by: her siblings, Kenneth J. George and Edna Reynolds of Lafayette, LA.; her children, Carol George-Perry (Dwight) of North Carolina, Christopher George of Lafayette and Andrew George of Lafayette; her grandsons, Jeremy Collins, Bruce Rodgers, Adrien King of North Carolina, Julien George Colston of Texas, Jayton George and Kendall Fuselier of Lafayette; and her great grandchildren, Brycen Keith, Jeremiah George and Jamiah Robinson (Jhace Jackson). She is also survived by the children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kinchen Funeral Home (1011 N St Antoine St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gethsemane Church of God in Christ (701 E Pinhook Rd, Lafayette, LA 70501). A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Evangeline Memorial Gardens (4113 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520).
