It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael R. Champagne Sr. of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Champagne and Lydia B. Champagne; and his siblings, Chuck Champagne, LJ Champagne and Barbara Sicard.
He is survived by: his children, Michael R. Champagne Jr. (Pamela) of Carencro and Amiee Champagne of Lafayette; his grandsons, Brenson Champagne of Carencro, Jonathan Champagne of Lafayette and Ethan Bossard of Colorado; and his brother Kenneth Champagne of Texas.
