He is survived by: his wife Shelia Mitchell Francois of Lafayette, LA; his children, Patrick Doucet, Keith Doucet of Oklahoma, John Babineaux of Kaplan, LA, Jerry Mitchell, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA, Rolanda Polk of Broussard, LA, Lataja Polk, Jerrilyn Mitchell of Lafayette, LA, Lasandra Lavergne (Gerard) of Livingston, LA, Cassandra Hutchinson (Kelvin), Capriqua Francois (Gerry) of Dallas, TX and Rashonna Mitchell of Houston, TX; and his siblings, Ranny Francois of Houston, TX, Clyde Francois (Linda) of Lake Charles, LA and Thailia Charles of Irving, TX. He is also survived by thirty-three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
