It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ryan Christopher George of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Corrine Marie "CoCo" George and Jack Ernest "Lil Man" Stanberry Jr.; his brother Gregory George; and his grandparents, Irene Emily Doucet, Horace George Sr., Jack Ernest Stansberry Sr., Raymond Wilson Sr. and Harvey Batiste.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rylin George and Miya Rodriguez; his siblings, Rachelle O'Brien, Brian (Danika), Takaeus Breaux and Myles Domingue; his grandmothers, Trudy Edwards and Gladys Batiste; and his aunts and uncles, Pamela, Mona Wesley, Pricilla, Purnella, Charlene George, Yvette Stansberry, Angela Thompson, Angel Jolivette (Troy), Randy Edwards, Harold (Linda), Horace George, Kevin, David Wesley (Prathea), Gregory (Evelyn), Raymond (Geri) and Todd Wilson (Dimetria). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
