He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sonnier and Helen Jolivette Sonnier; his siblings, Adam "Chukkey" Sonnier, Paul (Sonnier), Francis Mae "Sis" Domingue, Shirley Sonnier Broussard and Helen (Sonnier); his son Keith Sonnier; and his grandson Jevon Sonnier.
He is survived by: his wife Lovenia Dugas Sonnier; his children, Timothy Sonnier (Glenda), Frank Sonnier, Sr. (Ernestine) and Bonnie Sonnier Thompson; his grandchildren, Frank Sonnier, Jr. (Tiara), Joshua Sonnier (Jamilia), Bre'Anna Sonnier, Joel Sonnier, Reynauldo Sonnier and Krislynn Sonnier; and his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Charles, Kari Noel and John Narcisse, Jr.. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
