She is survived by: her sons, Willie Polite (Alicia) of Houston, Nathaniel Polite of Houston, Julius Polite of Lafayette, Jonathan of New Iberia, Louisiana, Robert (Tayler Lancon) of New Iberia, Louisiana and Joshua Polite of New Iberia, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Dorcas Brown (Logan) of Lafayette, Louisiana, Terrance, Tori, Trinten, Trinity, Caden, Israel and Navaeh; her great grandchild Dream Noel Harris; her siblings, Gerald Taylor of Port Arthur, Texas, Eugene Taylor of Port Arthur, Texas, Anthony Taylor, Sr. of Port Arthur, Texas, Mandolia T. Joseph of St. Martinville, Goldie M. Wiltz of Houston and Mary Alice Taylor of Baytown, Texas; and her former husband Elder Willie Polite.
