She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Washington (Pastor Tom Washington) of LaPlace, LA and Cassandra Washington (Chet Cornell) of New Iberia, LA; her brother Timothy Matthews, Sr. (Joyce) of Morgan City, LA; her aunt Mattie Manuel of New Iberia, LA; her sisters-in-law, Jenetta Matthews of Beaumont, TX, Lorraine Matthews of New Iberia, LA and Lois Matthews of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Arionne Washington, Tametrya Washington of Austin, TX, Ayanna Alexander (Nicholas, Sr.) of New Iberia, LA and Tom Washington, Jr. of Austin, TX; and her great grandchildren, Celina Johnson of Metairie, LA and Nicholas Alexander, Jr. of New Iberia, LA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, church family, and friends.
