She is survived by: her daughters, Rosemary Rochon Mitchell of Olivier, LA, Elaine Butler (Donald) of Gig Harbor, WA and Kathryn Rochon of Skillman, NJ; and her grandchildren, Joseph Alton Rochon, Jr. (Jackie) of University Place, WA., Trevor Mitchell (Amya) of Missouri City, TX, Randall Rochon (Joanne) of Missouri City, TX, Aisha Butler of University Place, WA, Randolph Rochon, Jr. (Angelica) of Lafayette, LA, Ivy Antoine of Carencro, LA, Janay Antoine of New Iberia, LA, Shayla Boutte of Houston, TX, Kevin Boutte (Winter) of Winter Garden, FL and Jonathan Butler of Tacoma, WA.. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 8:00 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (175 Ambassador W Lemell Dr, New Iberia, LA 70560, USA). A rosary will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
