He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Bennett and Annie Bennett; his wife Barbara Yarborough; and his siblings, Rebecca, Rozella, Regina, William, Edmond, Willie, Matilda, Alberta, Elijah and Ravenell.
He is survived by: his children, Sonya, Sharen and Thomas; his grandchildren, Jessika (Kenneth), Sadiya and Jala; and his great grandchild Kennedy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
