It is with sadness that the passing of Alan DeYoung of Boston, Massachusetts is shared. Alan, born on August 6, 1963, passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Alan will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Alan by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Alan is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Alan’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlotte Rizzitiello and Mowry; his siblings, Brian DeYoung, Lee Rizzitiello and Joseph Rizzitiello; and his grandparents, James and Josephine Mowry.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saint Patricks Church (10 Magazine St, Roxbury, MA 02119). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the New Calvary Cemetery (366 Cummins Hwy, Roslindale, MA 02131).
