He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Lovell and Eleanor Lovell of Boston, Massachusetts.; his son Anthony Lovell-Hines; and his siblings, Louise Wright, Esther Brown, Norma Jean Henderson and Donald Benders.
He is survived by: his children, Clement Lovell-Hines, Lovell Porter, Rayshawnda Germany-Porter, Monica Hill and Shawn Porter; and his grandchildren, Lovell R. Porter, Rysiah Blair, Deiondre Martinez, Aundrea Martinez, Niaysa Hill, Malaysa Hill, Stephon Bell and Syaeer Bell.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the George Lopes Funeral Home (821 Cummins Hwy, Mattapan, MA 02126). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fair View Cemetery (45 Fairview Ave, Hyde Park, MA 02136).
