He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Aaronson and Ruth Aaronson; his brother Robert Aaronson; and his pet Montana. He is survived by: his wife Maria Garcia-Aaronson; his former wife Susan Granoff Aaronson; his stepson Ryan Basil; his sons-in-law, Nuno Limão and Steven Deutsch; his grandchildren, Isabel Aaronson Limão and Filipe Aaronson Limão; his brother Peter Aaronson (Harriet); and his sister-in-law Susan Aaronson.
In lieu of flowers donations could be made to the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
