Though Augustine has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Wharf and Ruth Stone Wharf of Somerville, MA.; his siblings, Ruth Wharf Differ of Winchester, MA, Gail Wharf Stafford of Woburn, MA and Jean Wharf Simonds of Woburn, MA; and also, Leona Wharf Hajny and Estelle Marie Wharf. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Discalced Carmelite Monastery (166 Foster St, Brighton, MA 02135). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Br. Augustine to the Discalced Carmelites or other charities.
