He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Finnegan and Rita Finnegan (Florence); his son Ryan M. Finnegan; his brother Sean Finnegan; and his uncle Ray.
He is survived by: his son Michael S. Finnegan (Andrea) of Reading, MA; his grandchildren, Catherine "Kate" and Thomas Finnegan; his siblings, Robert Finnegan II (Mary), Teri Nicholson (David), Frances Caster (Warren), Mary Jo Gardner (Peter), Sharon Roy (Michael) and Christopher Finnegan; his siblings' children, Erin Manning (Finnegan), Robert Finnegan III, Allison Doane (Caster), Christopher Caster, Timothy Caster, Khara Mayson (Nicholson), Julie Nicholson, Eric Gardner and Laura Gardner; his close friend Lastly; his granddaughter Kate; and his daughter-in-law Andrea.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home (25 Sanborn St, Reading, MA 01867). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Agnes Church (186 Woburn St, Reading, MA 01867).
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Brian's memory to Boston Children's Hospital.
