He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Furtado, Sr. and Ruth Furtado (Alleyne); and his sisters, Lily Pearl Bishop and Ruthann Furtado. He is survived by: his wife Angie Cherry; his daughter Tubryah Marie Cherry; his uncle George Furtado; his siblings, Jean Furtado, Barbara Gaul, Richard Furtado, Jr., Harold Furtado, Henry Furtado, Karen Furtado, Roger Furtado (Jacqueline) and Millie Furtado; and his goddaughter Briana Furtado. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and family-like friends.
