Bridget Anne Wetmore Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bridget Anne Wetmore of Boston, Massachusetts, born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Jerome E. Sweet and Patricia Sweet (Widman). She is survived by : her husband Weeden A. Wetmore; her children, Emily A. DeJiacomo (Jason) of Gainesville, Georgia (Austin) of Laura, E. W. and Joel A. Wetmore (Lauren) of Boston, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Mason D., Isabella A. and Cason J. DeJiacomo; her brothers, Michael E. Sweet (Heather) of Fredericksburg, Joel E. Sweet (Mary) of Acworth and David G. Sweet (Barbara) of Big Flats; her siblings-in-law, William C. Wetmore (Karen Holtman) of Clearlake, David W. Wetmore (Kathy) of Pensacola, Florida and Adrienne M. Wetmore (Scott Lindberg) of Boston, Massachusetts; and her stepmother Carol B. Wetmore of Andover. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McInerny Funeral Home (502 W Water St, Elmira, NY 14905). A prayer was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (224 Franklin St, Elmira, NY 14904).
