It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmela DiStefano (Boston, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carmela DiStefano to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Roberto and Maria Roberto (Muscara); her husband Michael DiStefano; her daughter Joyce DiStefano; and her siblings, Mary Roberto, Peter Roberto, Santa Roberto, Josephine Roberto, Nina Ingala, Jennie Contrada, Frank Roberto and Marco Roberto.

She is survived by : her daughters, Maria Como (late John) of Hooksett, NH and Joanne Deuterio (Ralph) of Revere; her grandchildren, Michael A. Tecci (Katherine "Katie"), Albert J Tecci (Melissa), John M. Como (Katie) and Michele Como; and her great grandchildren, Emilia, Theo Tecci, Xander, Nolan Tecci, Ace and Cameron Como.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the J. S. Waterman Langone Chapel (580 Commercial Street, Boston, MA 02109). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Leonard Church (320 Hanover St, Boston, MA 02113).
