She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Anderson Bailey and Luther Bailey; her son Allen Joseph Hardwick, Jr.; and her grandson Warren Daniel Hairston. She is survived by: her husband Allen Hardwick; her children, Cheryl Hairston-Gomes and William "David" Hairston (David); her grandchildren, Indya, Corinne, David, Damien, Davyona, Deonna and Cyle; her great grandchildren, Danajah, Ilah, Skylah and Daniel; and her friends, Donna Davis, Laureen McCollin-Gopie, Lorraine McCollin and Sylvia Mathews (Burns).
