He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frances James, and Claude A. James, Sr.; his daughters, Schanna James of Massachusetts, Mercedes James of Massachusetts and Jasmin James of Massachusetts; his siblings, Ruby Barnes of Texas, Schanna Winfield, Consuelo James, Yosandra Case, Avis Moore of Alabama, Thomas James, Wanda Kay Reid, Frankie Lynn Beaver and Durwood James of Alabama; and his grandchildren, Jordan James, Reuel "Jailand" Toney, Amin Toney, Rhory Lender, Blake Sheppard and Noelle Sheppard.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Michael Cemetery Chapel (500 Canterbury St, Roslindale, MA 02130).
