She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Valiante and Miriam Valiante; and her husband John Travers. She is survived by: her children, Allison Travers and Christopher Travers (Caitlin); her grandchildren, Eli and Zoe Travers; and her siblings, John Valiante (Maggie), Leo Valiante (Susan), Joan Migliaccio (Mark) and Marcia Valiante.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the FUEL Ministry program which provides weekend meals to children reliant on supplemental food programs in Newton and Boston.
