He was predeceased by : his brother George "Georgie" Centeio. He is survived by : his mother Maria Centeio; his siblings, Jose "DjeDje" Centeio, Jose "Ze" Centeio, John "Curly" Centeio, Gabriel "Gabe" Centeio, Margaret "Margie" Centeio and Maria "Poochie" Centeio (Kenfe); and his son Daniel M. " Bum-Bum" Centeio (Aretha "Ree" Hodge). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
