It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel J. Doherty (Boston, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard "Barney" Doherty and Mary Doherty (Burns); and his siblings, Bernie, Kay, Tommy, Joanne, Johnny and Peggy (Hughie).
He is survived by: his wife Lilly Doherty (Flammini); his children, Lili (Britt) of Westport, Katie (Brandon) of Lynnfield, Dano (Linda) of Saugus and Jacqueline (Michael) of Peabody; his grandchildren, Jack, Ryan, Evan, Marli, Van, Daniel, Matthew, Michael, Keegan and Quinn; and his siblings, Mary, Barbara and Roger (Nancy). He is also survived by his sister-in-laws and their families and many cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carr Funeral Home (220 Bunker Hill St, Charlestown, MA 02129). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Church (313 Bunker Hill St, Boston, MA 02129).
