It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. Ryan (Boston, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Ryan and Honora Ryan (Desmond); and his siblings, John Ryan, Kay Gillis and Joseph Ryan.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ryan (Clooney); his children, Melissa (Barrett Kelly) of Milton, Danielle (John Tierney) of Savin Hill, Shannon (Brian Hegarty) of Milton and Kasey Ryan of Savin Hill; his grandchildren, Emma, Jack Kelly, Rocco, Lola, Sunny Tierney, Finn, Rowan and Reese Hegarty; and his siblings, Peggy McDonough of Dorchester, Ellen Lennon of Florida, Ted Ryan of Dorchester and Jerry (Barbara Ryan) of Connecticut. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
