He is survived by: his siblings, Marisa Elizabeth McGrath, JoAnne Clara McGrath, James Michael McGrath and John Patrick McGrath; his children, Alan Derrick McGrath, Jessica Florence Postlethwaite and Ashlie Margaret McGrath; and his granddaughter Isabella Florence Postlethwaite.
